Privacy policy

The purpose of this confidentiality charter is to inform the natural person accessing the Site (the "User") of their rights and of the measures taken by SPB to ensure that their personal data is respected, in application of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés), when using this website www/avi-international.com, hereinafter referred to as the "Site".

PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING POLICY

I) DATA CONTROLLER

This personal data processing policy relates to data processed by SPB in its capacity as data controller.<>/px

II) PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

Personal data is collected directly from the User, with his/her consent, and recorded on the Site. Only personal data that is relevant and useful to the completion and/or performance of the User's insurance contract is collected:

  • data relating to the User's identity (surname, first name(s), date of birth) ;
  • data relating to the Insured (surname, first name(s), date of birth) ;
  • contact details (telephone number, e-mail and/or postal address);
  • data required to apply the User's insurance contract and to manage claims (identification number of the User or Insured, claim file references, etc.);
  • data relating to the location of persons and property;

III) LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

The legal basis for processing personal data is the performance of the User's insurance contract.

IV) PURPOSES OF DATA COLLECTION

The collection of personal data is mandatory for the conclusion and management of the User's insurance contract and the processing of his/her requests: all information is mandatory unless otherwise stated. Failure to reply may make it impossible to process the User's request. The User is informed that the information provided may be subject to verification.

SPB processes personal data for the following purposes:

  • to conclude and manage the User's insurance contract ;
  • the implementation of due diligence obligations in the context of the fight against fraud, money laundering and the financing of terrorism, asset freezing measures, the fight against the financing of terrorism and financial sanctions, including the triggering of alerts and declarations of suspicion,
  • monitoring service quality, in particular by means of satisfaction surveys,
  • preparing statistical analyses.

Indirectly nominative data may be collected during the User's browsing.
The User is invited to refer to the section on the "Cookie Usage Policy" below to find out more about the purposes and associated rights.

V) SHELF LIFE

The data collected is necessary for the completion and/or performance of the insurance contracts; it is kept until the end of the statute of limitations for actions that may arise from the said contracts.
With regard to the detection, prevention and fight against fraud and cybercrime, the data is kept for 12 months from the date of the alert; alerts not qualified at the end of the twelve (12) month period are deleted.
Qualified alerts are kept for a maximum of five (5) years from the closure of the fraud file.
With regard to monitoring the quality of services, in particular by means of satisfaction surveys and statistical analyses: data is kept for one (1) year from the date of the survey for the purpose of carrying out satisfaction surveys.

VI) RECIPIENT OF PERSONAL DATA

The data collected is intended exclusively for insurers, partners and subcontractors/agents involved in the conclusion and/or performance of the User's insurance contract. Apart from the recipients listed above and subject to being obliged to do so by a judicial authority or by law, or to protect the rights and interests of SPB, the data is not communicated, shared, made available or sold to third parties without the express prior consent of the persons concerned.

VII) TRANSFER OF DATA OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION

If the personal data collected and processed is transferred outside the European Union, safeguards will be put in place to provide a legal framework for this transfer and to ensure a high level of protection for your data.

VIII) PERSONAL DATA SECURITY MEASURES

SPB takes all necessary precautions and implements all appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security, confidentiality and integrity of personal data and the traceability of actions carried out. To this end, SPB takes all necessary precautions to ensure the security and confidentiality of personal data so that it cannot be damaged, deleted or accessed by unauthorised third parties.

IX) USER RIGHTS

Users have the right to access, oppose on legitimate grounds, rectify and port their personal data collected and/or processed by SPB, as well as the right to define directives relating to the fate of their data after their death.
Users also have the right to delete any personal data concerning them that is inaccurate, incomplete, equivocal, out of date or whose collection, use, communication or storage is prohibited.
These rights may be exercised in accordance with the legal and regulatory provisions in force relating to the processing of personal data, by contacting SPB, by any means allowing proof of identity, such as a written document accompanied by a dated and signed identity document, at the address below:
